I was close. That's why I never thought I'd be the one to build.
I've been in the world of web services since the late 1990s, when the internet first went mainstream. Through years at Microsoft, Google, and Amazon, I watched some of the world's most extraordinary engineers turn ideas into real, global services. That's the experience I carried.
The wall I knew too well
And that's exactly why I knew, painfully well, how hard it really is to bring a web service to life. The breadth of technical knowledge required. The enormous cost. The long timelines. Only organizations equipped with all three got to be "the people who build." I was not on the coding side myself. So the ideas in my head stayed in my head.
Generative AI broke the assumption
The rapid maturation of generative AI changed that fundamentally. Someone with years of accumulated judgment in this field, paired with AI as a real collaborator, can now ship a real web service to the world with their own hands. This is not the "no-code lets anyone build" story. This is a different revolution — one where the judgment of an experienced person combines with AI's implementation capability to make something neither could make alone.
The journey of building robotica.chat
In 2024, with no coding experience, I started product development with generative AI as my collaborator. After much trial, error, and learning, I conceived and built robotica.chat, a global AI partner marketplace, arriving at its pre-launch in May 2026. One person plus AI can ship a real service. The process itself is the proof.
What's next: roboticker.AI
Following robotica.chat, we plan to launch roboticker.AI — an AI-powered stock analysis platform covering 6,000+ U.S. stocks — in September 2026. The vision of building seven pillars with one person plus AI begins in earnest.
